This policy describes the current public MP4ToMP3.tools service. It is a practical product disclosure, not a certification or a promise about services that are not yet offered.

Your media stays in your browser

Supported video files are read and converted by FFmpeg.wasm in your browser. The converter does not upload your media bytes to MP4ToMP3.tools, a storage provider, an analytics service or a conversion API. We do not create cloud conversion jobs, accounts, payment records or a conversion history for this public tool.

The file name, local path, media contents, file hash, Blob URL, exact file size and exact duration are not sent in our analytics events.

Hosting and delivery data

The web host or content-delivery network may process ordinary request information needed to deliver pages and static files, such as an IP address, request time, browser headers, requested site path and response status. Those infrastructure logs are separate from media conversion: your selected media file is not part of the page or static-asset request.

When a valid Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, we show a consent choice before loading the Google tag. Rejecting or leaving the choice unanswered means no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics request is sent.

After acceptance, we may send only conversion lifecycle events with small, enumerated fields for the tool, input format, output format, conversion mode and, for failures, an error code. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your versioned analytics choice is stored in local storage. If analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change the choice. Revoking consent stops our custom events, sends a denied consent update and removes those app-scoped first-party analytics cookies where the browser permits. It does not claim to erase information Google received while consent was previously active.

If you email support@mp4tomp3.tools, your email provider and ours process the message and addressing information needed to deliver it. Please do not attach private media, copyrighted media you are not authorized to share, passwords or other sensitive information.
