About MP4ToMP3.tools
A focused browser-local toolkit for extracting audio from tested video formats.
Last updated 2026-09-03
MP4ToMP3.tools is a focused set of English-language tools for turning supported video files into audio without sending the media to a conversion server.
Why browser-local conversion
The public converter uses FFmpeg.wasm inside a browser Worker. The file is read, processed and turned into a downloadable Blob on your device. This design avoids creating an upload, remote conversion job, account or cloud history for the media.
Current verified boundary
The tested inputs are MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, MOV/QuickTime with H.264 video and AAC audio, and WebM with VP9 video and Opus audio. MP3 output is tested at 128, 192, 256 and 320 kbps. Compatible AAC can be copied to M4A and compatible Opus can be copied to an Ogg Opus file on the extraction page.
A container name does not guarantee the codec inside it. We therefore do not claim support for every MP4, MOV or WebM file. See Supported Formats for the exact matrix.
What the site does not do
The public converter does not require an account, payment or credits. It does not download third-party video URLs and does not offer cloud media storage.
